About us

People with connecting dots

Our story

Our history began in 2016 when Latour Industries acquired Aritco Group, at that time consisting of Aritco Lift and Gartec. In the following years, Vimec, TKS Heis, and Motala Hissar were added, together creating an international group of leading platform lift companies. In 2021, Latour Industries entered into the elevator components and modernization market through the acquisition of Vega. Subsequently, Esse-Ti and BS Tableau were added to the family of components and modernization companies.

In 2024, Innovalift was born as a new business area of Investment AB Latour, by gathering all the companies in one group. Altogether, our companies employ c. 1218 colleagues and have a combined turnover of c. SEK 3.3bn (2024).

Our philosophy

All our companies are born and raised through an entrepreneurial spirit. For us this spirit is fundamental in our growth strategy. By letting each one’s skills, knowledge and drive come together in cross company collaboration programs we do not only get the best of each company but also creating a “we” power. Fertilization of ideas and learning from each other creates an open atmosphere where we put trust in each other, take pride in sharing and delivering with local ownership.

Vision and Mission

Our mission is to move people - no matter if you are a private individual looking for increased mobility or comfort in your home, a property owner wishing to offer increased accessibility in public spaces, or a lift company seeking the latest technology in your installations. With our passion for products, technology, quality, and sustainability, we move people forward - in life, imagination, and possibilities.

Sustainability

“Our sustainability journey reflects our commitment to moving people forward with innovative solutions, empowering our customers to achieve sustainable growth, and creating a better world for generations to come.”

At Innovalift our greatest impact on sustainability is by supporting and driving sustainability programmes together with our wholly owned companies. Together we focus on the areas of energy efficiency, safety, recycling, sustainable manufacturing and workplace health.

Long-term values are created by developing sustainable operations and within the group we are confident that commitment to the environment and people is essential for developing in a positive direction.

SBTi Commitment

“SBTi commitment is a tangible sign of our agenda for the future. Inevitably the demands from the market will rapidly change and especially the young generation will have a completely different approach and consciousness about the climate agenda.”

In January 2025, Innovalift together with the individual companies further developed the joint strategic sustainability journey by as a group committing to net-zero as part of the Science Based Targets initiative. Taking climate action is a part of the strategic agenda on sustainability and we are proud to take the first step to commit to SBTi’s global movement for ambitious corporate decarbonization.

In 2024, we introduced the mapping of Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) for all our companies. These calculations follow the principles outlined by the GHG Protocol, an initiative that assists organizations and companies in tracking their emissions and making informed actions toward achieving sustainability goals.

Our focus for 2025 is now to develop and submit targets to the Science Based Targets initiative, establish key decarbonization plans for all our organizations and integrate governance of targets and reporting of progress in Innovalift operating model.

About the Science Based Targets initiative

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.

SBTi develops standards, tools and guidance which allow companies to set greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions targets in line with what is needed to keep global heating below catastrophic levels and reach net-zero by 2050 at the latest.

The SBTi is incorporated as a charity, with a subsidiary which will host the target validation services. Partners are CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the We Mean Business Coalition, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
